Tania’s passion for interior design began at Concordia University, where she studied urban planning and art history. Inspired by the works of masters like Matisse, she pursued a degree in design. Her career took flight at Montauk Sofa, designing showrooms across North America.

Since relocating to Vermont in 1999, Tania has dedicated herself to creating beautiful, functional spaces. She is committed to sustainable design, incorporating reclaimed and repurposed materials into her projects. When she’s not designing, Tania enjoys spending time with her two sons and collaborating with organizations like the Clarina Howard Nichols Center and the Ottawa Mission to create inspiring spaces and events to support those in need.
Tania Kratt Interiors' mission is to design thoughtfully curated spaces that feel authentic, inspired, and enduring. Drawing on a Vermont-inspired, eclectic design aesthetic, we integrate sustainable, reclaimed, and vintage materials and practices whenever possible. Every project is approached holistically, blending beauty and functionality to craft spaces that are both timeless and deeply personal.
